Quick Estimate
is a powerful job estimating tool that allows you to cut your
estimating time to a fraction of what it used to be, while greatly
enhancing accuracy and consistency.

Best of all, as you 'fine tune' your database over time, each little incremental Item you add, each little 'Oh, yea, I keep forgetting to add this small $ 5 material item to my bids and mark it up, or to account for the extra 15 minutes of office time that other thing takes', etc, will become an automated part of your bids, never to be forgotten or ignored again.
Quick Estimate is based on a concept, as shown above, of Labor and Material Items, which are then combined into Assemblies and Jobs. The design of Quick Estimate allows maximum flexibility to fit the way you prefer to do your estimates.
When you add an Item of Labor or Materials to the database, that Item is stored for instant use in Jobs and Assemblies.
Assemblies, also stored in the database for instant use, are combinations of Labor and / or Material Items that can be added with one click to any job. This very powerful concept is explored further in the Assemblies section of this help file. Think of Assemblies as 'mini-jobs'.
Jobs and Assemblies are stored in the database, for future recall, editing, and reporting.
Over time, you will find your bids increasing just a little bit - $ 20 here, $ 50 there, as you refine them and the Quick Estimate system makes your refinements easy and automatic and consistent on every future bid. Maybe $ 150 / job isn't much, one way or the other - but maybe if it's pure profit, then Quick Estimate has paid for your copy of HVACSuite the first time you use it !
